Is YakWise free?
Yes, YakWise is free during beta. We'll communicate any changes well in advance.
How accurate are the verdicts?
YakWise uses real-time data from NOAA, Open-Meteo, and other government sources. Verdicts are as good as the data — but always check conditions yourself before launching.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Email us and we'll remove your account and all associated trip checks within 48 hours.
Where does YakWise work?
In the regions we've opened so far — we're rolling out state by state during beta. You save your own launches in the app, or drop a pin on the map for an ad-hoc check at any lake, river, or saltwater spot in a supported area. We'll keep expanding as we grow.
